Client Relations Specialist - Job Description

 

Job Summary:

Under direction of office manager and veterinarians, provides clerical support.  Is ultimately responsible for client relations, keeping a smooth, full schedule, promoting the clinic and its recommendations and products.

 

Pay Scale:   $7.00 - $12.00

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Knowledge:           

General office practices and procedures including filing and telephone techniques, typing.

Ability:            

Work quickly and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Perform clerical work with speed and accuracy

Spell and use correct grammar

Use ten key adding machine

Use multiple line telephone

Communicate clearly and courteously

Use computer with Windows OS

Proficiently handle money, make change, process checks & credit cards

Understand and carry out oral and written instructions

Self learn, study materials, and pass tests

Education:  High School Diploma, GED

                Office skills training or some college preferred

 

Experience:  At least one year experience in office setting

        Experience at veterinary or other medical setting preferred.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Follows employee handbook.

Completes training courses and passes written tests. 

Shows continuous growth in job knowledge and responsibility.
